Character Design

An original classroom cast with an acting study, commissioned model sheets for 총몇명, early colour work, and the drawing underneath all of it.

For two episodes of the YouTube animation channel 총몇명, the character sheets and the TVPaint storyboards were one assignment. Design the cast first, then board the acting.

Situation Paintings

2014-2015

Early colour work. These are watercolours in the Korean art-school exam genre called 상황표현, where a given theme has to be staged with a main subject, a secondary subject and a setting. Painted in 2014 and 2015.

Mushroom Cast, an exploration

An unfinished exploration, shown as process. Five mushroom species become five body types and attitudes. The bodies are placeholders and the caps are the design.
