A boy arrives at a travelling circus with a uniformed man. Money changes hands, a crowd watches, and the boy is left holding a paper he did not expect. I built the sequence to practise coverage. A wide shot establishes the tent, over-the-shoulder reverses carry the conversation, extreme close-ups on hands carry the exchange, and a crowd shot changes the pressure in the scene.
The panels are clean digital line over three flat greys so that foreground, middle ground and silhouette separate at a glance. Camera notes are written on the frames. IN for push-ins, Pan Down, Tilt Up, and focus pulls marked ① to ②.
This is student work from 2015 and it is dated that way. It is on the site because it is the one sequence here that is mine from start to finish, with no client brief.
