03 p.12. A backlit doorway, carried by the lighting.
  4. Board page: two characters running with speed lines behind them, a close-up of a giant candy bag, and the same running shot repeated in flat grey with a skull face in between.
04 p.20. The light goes out and comes back with the skull closer.
  5. Board page: magenta candies glowing inside a basket, a character eating one, and a four-way split screen of faces counting.

The script came with the cut counts, the song timings and the camera directions, and the board turns them into pages the animation team can build from. Each page carries the cut number, a 16:9 picture, dialogue, a note column and timing on the studio's template.

Almost everything happens in the dark, so the pages work by value. The haunted hall is set up on one-point perspective with the chandelier as the only accent. Colour appears once per gag and nowhere else, as the purple of the magic candy or the yellow of a pair of eyes in a doorway. When the lights cut out and come back, the same framing returns with the monster a step closer, which is cheaper to animate and reads faster than a move.
