Seven song videos boarded for one summer release, 2026

In 2026 Subin Yu (유수빈) drew the storyboards for all seven songs in the Pororo (뽀로로) summer song release, from each opening title card to the last cut.

I Love Playing with Water

A day at the pool with float rings and a water slide. It starts at 9:46 in the video.

Board page: a hand-lettered title card, a pool in one-point perspective with a camera mark drawn over it, a float ring on the water, children splashing.
p.01The title card and the pool.
Board page: children playing in shallow water, a red camera frame drawn over a curling water slide, a child coming down the slide.
p.07The slide, with the camera move drawn on top.

A Rainy Day

Rain boots and puddles on a wet afternoon. It starts at 8:18 in the video.

Board page: a blue hand-lettered title card with raindrops, close-ups of rain boots stepping, a child walking under an umbrella.
p.01Boots and rain.
Board page: a large white splash shape filling a grey frame, two characters talking, a group running through the rain.
p.06The splash is drawn as a shape, not as drops.

Poby's Rainbow Juice Truck

Poby turns fruit into coloured juices and sells them from a truck. It starts at 6:21 in the video.

Board page: a hand-lettered title card over a pile of fruit, a bear at the wheel, the juice truck with red camera marks drawn across it.
p.01The title card and the truck.
Board page: rows of juice bottles and glasses laid out in a grid of frames, the fruit colour filling them in stages.
p.09The colour arrives one glass at a time.

Let's All Swim Together

Patty teaches the others to swim at the poolside. It starts at 4:51 in the video.

Board page: a hand-lettered title card over a poolside, a line of characters standing in the water, one floating on their back.
p.01The pool and the first chorus.
Board page: characters lined up along the poolside, a yellow float ring as the only colour on the sheet, one character spread flat on the water.
p.05The float ring carries the colour.

The Wheels on the Bus Go to the Sea

A bus ride over the hills that ends at the water. It starts at 3:31 in the video.

Board page: a title card over a mountain road, the bus seen from the side, a red-framed close-up of a turning wheel.
p.01The road, then the wheel.
Board page: one wide shot of the characters running across sand toward the water, with a red camera-follow frame drawn over it.
p.06Arrival, held on a single shot.

Pororo's Mosquito Song

A mosquito gets into the bedroom after lights out. It starts at 2:12 in the video.

Board page: a bedroom seen from the foot of the bed at night, the song title lettered across the first frame, a black frame below it.
p.01The room, in the dark.
Board page: speed lines radiating from two mosquitoes, a bear's bitten face in close-up, a child swinging at the air.
p.07Speed lines stand in for the sound.

Five Little Ducks

Five ducklings, counted off one at a time. It opens the video at 0:06.

Board page: five ducklings walking in a row under palm trees with a red camera frame over them, then close-ups of the group.
p.01Five ducklings, left to right.
Board page: four ducklings numbered one to four in a line, a character looking down at them, a slide behind.
p.02The counting is built into the staging.

All seven songs

The released video on the official Pororo channel.

The seven songs went through separate rounds of revision and then came out together as one video. A song arrives as lyrics, a guide track and a cut count, and the board has to turn that into scenes a 2D team can animate inside the running time the music already fixes.

Each song is built on one idea that holds it together. The rainy-day song draws its splashes as flat white shapes instead of drops. The juice song fills the glasses with colour one at a time. The duckling song puts the counting into the staging, so the number is visible before anyone sings it.

Two pages from each song are shown here in production order, the opening page and one page from inside the number. The Korean on the pages is production notes, and the captions give the gist in English. The released video sits at the bottom of this page.
